This privacy policy (“Policy”) applies to Kanlet along with its affiliates herein called as Kanlet and was last updated September 2025. We may change or update this policy at any time, and the same will be updated here.
If you are a Kanlet user or customer, we shall notify the changes or updates either by sending an email or a notification on the Kanlet App (as defined below). Please ensure to read such notices carefully.
We sincerely believe that you should always know what data we collect from you, the purposes for which such data is used, and that you should have the ability to make informed decisions about what you want to share with us.
Therefore, we want to be transparent about:
(i) how and why we collect, store and use your personal data in the various capacities in which you interact with us; and
(ii) the rights that you have to determine the contours of this interaction.
While we would strongly advise you to read the Policy in full, the following summary will give you a snapshot of the salient points covered herein:
- This Policy details the critical aspects governing your personal data relationship with Kanlet;
- Your personal data relationship with Kanlet varies based on the capacity in which you interact with us/avail of our products and solutions (“Services”). You could be: (i) a person/entity availing of one of our Services (“Customer”); or (ii) an employee/agent/representative/appointee of a customer who uses the said Service (“User”);
- Based on whether you are a Customer or User, the type of data we collect and the purpose for which we use it will differ and this Policy details such variations;
- This Policy is a part of and should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Use and this Policy will clarify the rights available to you vis-à-vis the personal data you share with us.
If you have any queries or concerns with this Policy, please contact our Grievance Officer (refer Section 9). If you do not agree with the Policy, we would advise you to not visit/use the Website or the Kanlet application(s)/platform(s) (collectively “App”).

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT
To provide the Services, we must process information about you. The types of information we collect depend on how you use our Services. You can learn how to access and delete information we collect by visiting the Kanlet settings.
We may also collect information about you and your Contacts from third-party sources, such as data aggregators, public sources, and advertising networks, which we may combine with the information received about you and your Contacts through our Services.
1.1. Customers
When you sign up for our Services as a Customer, we collect certain information to set up your account and facilitate the provision of Services.
1.1.1. What information do we collect?
- Account Information: When you sign up for a Kanlet account, we require certain information such as your organization name, your name, email address, and password.
- Contacts Information: Information about your social and business connections that you voluntarily provide or enable us to collect by uploading to the Website or synchronizing non-Website content with your account.
1.1.2. How do we use this information?
We use the information we collect from Customers for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your Kanlet account;
- To provide the Services you have requested;
- To verify your identity and carry out security checks;
- To communicate with you about your account and our Services;
- To send you updates, security alerts, and administrative messages;
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To enhance our Services by combining information about your Contacts with data from other sources.
1.2. Users
Users are individuals who are authorized by Customers to use the Services.
1.2.1. What information do we collect?
- Profile Information: Name, email address, job title, profile photo (if provided).
- Usage Data: Information on how you interact with the Services, such as features used, time spent, etc.
- Contacts Information: Information about your social and business connections that you voluntarily provide or enable us to collect by uploading to the Services or synchronizing non-Services content with your account.
1.2.2. How do we use this information?
We use the information we collect from Users for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve our Services;
- To develop new features and services;
- To understand and analyze how you use our Services;
- To communicate with you about the Services;
- To monitor and prevent security issues and abuse.
- To enhance our Services by combining information about your Contacts with data from other sources.
2. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA (FOR EEA USERS)
If you are an individual in the European Economic Area (EEA), we collect and process information about you only where we have legal bases for doing so under applicable EU laws (including GDPR). The legal bases depend on the Services you use and how you use them. This means we collect and use your information only where:
- We need it to provide you the Services, including to operate the Services, provide customer support and personalized features and to protect the safety and security of the Services;
- It satisfies a legitimate interest (which is not overridden by your data protection interests), such as for research and development, to market and promote the Services and to protect our legal rights and interests;
- You give us consent to do so for a specific purpose; or
- We need to process your data to comply with a legal obligation.
If you have consented to our use of information about you for a specific purpose, you have the right to change your mind at any time, but this will not affect any processing that has already taken place. Where we are using your information because we or a third party have a legitimate interest to do so, you have the right to object to that use though, in some cases, this may mean no longer using the Services.
3. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We share information we collect about you in the ways discussed below, including in connection with possible business transfers, but we are not in the business of selling information about you to advertisers or other third parties.
3.1. Sharing with other Service users
When you use the Services, certain information may be shared with other users in your organization or as per the features of the Services.
3.2. Sharing with third parties
We work with third parties who provide services such as hosting, maintenance, support, payment processing, etc. These third parties may have access to or process your information as part of providing those services for us. We limit the information provided to these service providers to that which is reasonably necessary for them to perform their functions.
3.3. Compliance with laws and law enforcement
Kanlet may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of Kanlet, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Services or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.
3.4. Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Kanlet is based in Delaware, USA, but we may transfer personal data to our affiliates or third parties located in other countries. When we transfer your information outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. This period varies depending on the type of data and the reason for collection. When we no longer need your data, we will delete or anonymize it.
6. YOUR RIGHTS & PREFERENCES AS A DATA SUBJECT
Subject to the GDPR and applicable law’s limitations, the rights afforded to you as a data subject are:
- RIGHT TO BE INFORMED: You have the right to be clearly informed about how your personal data is collected, processed, and used. This Policy has been designed to provide you with that transparency.
- RIGHT OF ACCESS: You have the right to request access to the personal data you have shared with us, and we will provide you with a copy upon request.
- RIGHT TO RECTIFICATION: You have the right to ask us to correct or update your personal data if you believe it is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
- RIGHT TO ERASURE: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data from our records.
- RIGHT TO RESTRICT PROCESSING: You have the right to request that we temporarily or permanently limit the processing of all or part of your personal data.
- RIGHT TO OBJECT: You have the right to object, at any time, to the processing of your personal data under specific circumstances. In particular, you have an absolute right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.
- RIGHT TO DATA PORTABILITY: You have the right to request a copy of your personal data in a commonly used electronic format so that you may reuse it or transfer it to another service provider.
- RIGHT AGAINST AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING: You have the right not to be subject to decisions made solely through automated processes, including profiling, without human involvement.

7. SECURITY
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method is 100% secure.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Services.
